Mrs. Mary E. Bishop, aged 75, of 314 Cunningham avenue, died this morning at 9:45 o'clock at her home after a lingering illness. She was the widow of Andrew Bishop who preceded her in death 11 years ago.

Mrs. Bishop was born March 4, 1867, in Scottdale, Pa., daughter of Peter and Sarah Rhodes. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.

Surviving are five sons, and two daughters, Clyde R. of New Castle, Charles L. of New Castle, Private Austin L. of Camp Forrest, Tenn., J. Walter of Cleveland, George D. of New Castle, Mrs. Robert LeMaster of Warren O., Henrietta Bishop of New Castle; two brothers, Charles Rhodes of Scottdale, Smith Rhodes of Cannellsville; four grandsons and one granddaughter.

The body has been removed to the Joseph B. Leyde mortuary, Highland at Winter. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending the arrival of a son, Private Austin L. Bishop from Camp Forrest, Tenn.
