James M. Ogden, pioneer resident of Merrick county, died suddenly at his home in Chapman Monday afternoon of heart failure. He was 72 years of age and farmed for many years west of Chapman. He is survived by his widow, one son, Ernest S. Ogden, and one daughter, Mrs. D. E. Magnuson. Funeral services were held yesterday, Rev. Samuel Miller, of Stella, officiating.
