Doris Jean Manning Barnes,89, passed away peacefully to return to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Born on May 8, 1926.

She was a founding member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, a member of St. Lawrence Senior's Club and retired volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid pinochle player and loved going to bingo.

She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 53 years Charles Louis Barnes; parents Alvey and Claudine Manning; sister, Anna Rita O'Bryan; and brother, Walter Manning.

She is survived by her three children, daughters, Cheryl Barnes, Kathleen Crawley (Mike), and son, Charlie Barnes (Amy); grandchildren Tyler, Matthew (Erica), Michael (Emily) and Ashley Barnes and Cody Levy; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2015, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Dr., from 1-8 p.m. Funeral Mass is Tuesday June 2, 2015, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with burial to follow Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY.
