Daughter of John Perkins Ridings and Rebecca (Williams) Ridings. Wife of James C. Hunt.

"Mrs. Polly R. Hunt, 80 years old, wife of Mr. James Hunt, died Tuesday at her home near Grundy. She had been in declining health for some time. Mrs. Hunt was one of the most widely known and beloved women of the county. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Rock Lick church and burial followed in the cemetery there. She is survived by her husband, who served many of the churches of Pulaski County as pastor and leader until he lost his eye sight."
