DEATH OF CAPTAIN HUGER-

We have been inexpressibly pained at receiving the announcement of the death of Captain Benjamin Huger, who died in Baltimore on the 27th ult. and was buried from St. Paul's Church in that city on Saturday last. Captain Huger served both in Virginia and the Trans Mississippi department, and showed himself worthy of the distinguished family whose name he bore and gallant State whose fortunes he followed. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to those who are left to lament his early loss, and trust that they will not mourn as those without hope. In this we but give expression to the voice of this community, who still cherish a warm regard for the family of the deceased soldier.Virginian-Pilot
