Wife of Henry Hoodmacher. They were living in Monroe County, Pennsylvania in 1870. Civil war pension records show that Lucinda applied for a widow's pension, husband Henry G. Hoodmaker (CO. G 67 PA Inf), on March 30, 1878. In 1880, Lucinda, with three of her children,was living with her parents in Monroe County. The family came to Iowa in 1889.

There is a gravestone in Saylorsburg, Monroe County for Henry Hoodmaker. Strangely, both birth and death dates are well off.

Six children can be identified from censuses: Emma, Joseph, Matilda, John, Irwin W. and Milton P.
