NORTH FERRISBURGH - Margaret A. Higbee of North Ferrisburgh, passed away on March 5, 2015 at Porter Hospital in Middlebury.
She was born Margaret Alice Stevens on July 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Arnold and Beatrice (St. Clair) Stevens.
She attended schools in Springfield, Vt. On Sept. 1, 1979, she married the late George Higbee.
Margaret worked for several area people, caregiving and cleaning.
She took pride in her beautiful flowers and holidays displays.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, George Higbee; a special brother, Herbert Stevens; special sisters, Eunice Flynn, Phyliss Call, and Doris Wetherby; nephews, Kevin Flynn and Scott Cousino; and great nieces, Carrie Flynn and Brianna Popp.
Funeral services will be held 11a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Vergennes.
