"OLIVEBRIDGE — Josephine B. Allen, 94, of Kelder Road, died Monday at 10 Broeck Commens Nursing Home in Lake Katrine. She was born July 10, 1905, in Hartwick, the daughter of the late Sidney and Mary Newkirk Bresee. She was married to the late Arthur Allen, who predeceased her in 1984. Mrs. Allen had been employed as a nurse at the Ulster County Infirmary before her retirement. Surviving are dear friends, Harvey Every and Lisa Slovensky. Five nieces and three nephews also survive. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jean White on Oct. 18, 1996. Funeral will be Friday, at 10 a.m. at the H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 Forty Second St., Kerhonkson.
