We've shared a lot of memories
together, dear, since then.
And this years, just as always
It's absolutely true,
That's what makes memories so nice,
Was sharing them with you.
Private funeral services were held in Gridley
for Hazel Florence Claxton, age 78, who
died on Apr 13, 1990, in Enloe Memorial
Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Claxton was a native of Pierce City
Missouri, have been born on Dec 6, 1911.
She met and married Wayne A. Claxton in
1928 while living in Picher Oklahoma. They
lived there until 1941, when they came to
the San Fernando Valley in California. Mr.
and Mrs. Claxton lived in the San Fernando
Valley for 31 years before moving to Biggs,
where they lived the last 20 years. She was
an an avid bowler and a member of the
Biggs Nutrition Site.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Claton;
two daughters, Mary Rushton of Biggs and
Bonnie Droll of Redding; two sisters, Mary
Hulvey and Jeneve Sexton, both of Miami
Oklahoma, five grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren. Burial in the Gridley-
Biggs cemetery.
