Ephraim was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Steiner) Kinzie, and was born near Preston, Ont. He passed away at the South Waterloo Hospital, aged 76 y. 6 m. 8 d. Death was due to a heart ailment. On Feb. 3, 1909, he was married to Nancy Detweiler. He dedicated his talents in service to the Preston Mennonite Church and witnessed through his many business contacts during the forty years he operated Preston's first dairy.
