Mildred Farmer Akin, 85, of Hamburg died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Beverly Health Care of Crossett. A lifelong resident of Hamburg, she was a retired painting contractor and a member of Martinville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Morgan of Pensacola, FL, and Esther Travis of Foley, AL; one sister, Dorothy Ford of Hamburg; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Doyle Mann; her parents, German and Mary Farmer; and three brothers, Herman, Olin and Willie Ed Farmer.
Grave side services were scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, at 10 a.m. at Judson Cemetery with Rev. James Morris officiating. Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg was in charge of arrangements.
