West Winfield-Mrs. Bertha L. Adams, formerly of the Town of Pittsfield, widow of Frederick Adams, died Friday in Faxton Hospital, Utica.
She was born in the Town of Pittsfield, daughter of Norman and Ida Hill Matteson. She attended schools in Pittsfield and New Berlin. She was married to Mr. Adams in 1924 in Montrose, Pa.
She was a member of the former Nazarene Church of New Berlin.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn Kilba), Chadwicks.
The funeral will be at 2 Monday from the Dakin Funeral Home, New Berlin. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today.
