Miss Mary Alice Randall, who operated Janesville's first beauty parlor, died Tuesday in a local nursing home after several years failing health. She retired in 1947.
A native of Boone County, Ill., Miss Randall spent her adult life in Janesville. She was a member of the Christian Science Church.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. William Benedict, Janesville; one brother, Gordon B. Randall, nephews.
Christian Science services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Reining Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
