Otis Reno Stottlemyer, Sr., 60,of 1327 Valley Ave., Winchester, died yesterday in Newton D. Baker V.A. Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Mr. Stottlemyer was born May 1, 1916 in Winchester, a son of the late John and Mammie Mauzy Stottlemyer. He was a member of the Rosedale Baptist Church and was an antique dealer. He was a veteran of WWII.
Surviving with his wife, the former Hellen Mullen, whom he married in 1952 are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wilt of Winchester and Mrs. Stella Helmick of Chambersburg, Pa.; two sons, Otis R. Stottlemyer, Jr. and Norman A. Stottlemyer, both of Allentown, Pa; four grandchildren; two half-brothers, Holmes DeHaven of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and Hayes DeHaven of Hagerstown, Md.; a half-sister, Mrs. Mary V. Good od Alexandria and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Omps Funeral Home by the Rev. Kenneth Smith. Burial will be in Red Bud Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Poe, Andrew Broy, Shirley Palmer, Larry Adams, Robert Cullers and Strother Adams.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
