Claudia Barnes Massey, 81, of Leslie, passed away on Friday, June 09, 200 6 at Salem Place Nursing Center in Conway, Arkansas. She was born on December 09, 1924 in Campbell, Arkansas to W.J. and Nora (Sutterfield) Barnes. She was a member of the Campbell Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Massey taught both elementary and high school for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee, her parents, W.J. and Nora Barnes, one sister, and five brothers.
She is survived by two sons and their wives; Grandchildren;
Great-Grandchildren; Two step-grandchildren and families.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 11, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Roller Coffman Chapel in Marshall with Luther Branscum and Norm Moyer officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m.Saturday, June 10, 2006 at chapel.
Burial in Campbell Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers: All former students that she taught at Leslie School.
