Edna McKeehan Harrison, 93, widow of Woodrow Harrison, of Berea, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at The Terrace Nursing Facility.
She was born in Madison County on December 13, 1921, to the late John and Ida McKeehan. She was a member of the Whites Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and intricate handwork. She is survived by her son, Larry (Donna) Harrison; her grandchildren, Laura (John) Wooten and Keith (Allison) Harrison; her great grandchildren, Jonah Wooten, Hallie Harrison, Brooke Harrison, and Tara Wooten, all of Berea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Other than her husband and parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Lillian Hunter, Howard "Bub" McKeehan, Forrest McKeehan, Flossie Stout, Virgil McKeehan, Thelma Schreiter, Christine Bryant and Carl McKeehan.
Visitation for Mrs. Harrison will be held at Davis & Powell Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 29, with funeral services immediately following at 7 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Slemp officiating.
A private burial will be held Saturday in the Richmond Cemetery.
