MARYSVILLE - Vicki M. Benton-Thomas, 53, Marysville, died Monday. Nov. 17, 2003. Mrs. Benton-Thomas was born Vicki Libby on October 10, 1950, in Beatrice, Nebraska. She was a licensed practical nurse in the Kansas City area. She worked at Kansas University Medical Center and Providence - St. Margaret Hospital.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Dale Benton and James Thomas. She is survived by a longtime companion, Clarence Cohorst of Marysville; a daughter, Tanya Diop of Tonganoxie, Kansas; two sisters, Libby Jo Muchow of Bismark, North Dakota, and Jean Truesdell of Englewood, Colorado. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kinsley Mortuary, 1004 Broadway, Marysville, KS 66508. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Marysville Cemetery.
