On January 29, 1942 Vera and Tom Hyton Arnold were united in marriage. He passed away after 60 years of marriage.
Vera touched many lives as a teacher, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was most recently a member of Selmore Christian Church in Ozark.
Survivors include: Three children, Dean Arnold of San Antonio, TX, Sharon Salmons of Galena, and Karen Potter of Ozark; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma Neihardt and husband Chester of Paradise, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Elmer Lee Orr and Gene Orr.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27, in Selmore Christian Church, Ozark, with Pastor Bud Kelly officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Wednesday until service time. Burial will follow the service in Weaver Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
