MAHOMET - Harold A. Andreae, 72, Mahomet, died at 10:33 p.m. Saturday (June 1, 1991) at Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blair-Owens Funeral Home, Mahomet, the Rev. David Jankowski officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5520 Color Guard of Champaign. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Andreae was born January 31, 1919, in Anchor, a son of Christian and Elizabeth Wilde Andreae. He married Anna Reilly on Sept. 11, 1954, in Anchor. She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Valerie Martin of Tolono; Robin Andreae of Guerneville, California.; and Lisa Holmes of Stockton, California.; one sister, Viola Worley of Warsaw, Indiana.; five brothers, Julius of Saybrook; Marvin of Colfax; Ivan of Paxton; Ralph of Sibley; and Raymond of Morris; and four grandchildren.

One son preceded him in death.

Mr. Andreae had been employed by the Central Soya Co., Gibson City, for 28 years, retiring in 1976.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6289, Gibson City. He served in the Army during World War II.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
