Canadian, OK – Mrs. Huldia Baker 77, a resident of Oklahoma the last ?6 years, died Sunday at her home in Canadian after an extended illness.
She was born December 18, 1875 St. Joe, Arkansas. She was a long time member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alex Nix of Stockton, CA; three sons Fonzo Baker of St. Joe, Arkansas, Dewey Baker of Shawnee, OK, and Hugh Baker of Canadian, OK; two sisters, Mrs. Bert Strickland of St. Joe, AR, and Mrs. Emeline Ryan of Harrison, AR; two brothers Fayette McEntire of St. Joe, AR, and John McEntire of Harrison, AR, 17 grandchildren, 08 great-great grandchildren, and 01 great-great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Canadian High School auditorium with Reverend Bill Presnell of McAlester officiating.
Burial will be in the Eufala Cemetery with the Kelley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Bearers will be grandsons Clarence Baker of Canadian, OK, Kenneth Duff of Tahlequah, OK, Albert Baker of Harlingen, TX, L.D.
