Anna Isabelle Farmer was the daughter of Rufus Benjamin Hopkins (1850-1916) and Frances Elizabeth Page (1840-1917). She married (1) John Brock Kelsey, Jr. 31 August 1893. Their children were Elizabeth Kelsey (Sparks) (1894-1974), Monroe Kelsey (1895-1974) and Annie Laurie (originally Anna Laura) Kelsey (Hodges) (1897-1987). John was tragically killed in a dispute over water rights.

She married (2) Henry L. Stout 16 May 1901. They had one daughter, Mabry Stout (Bush) (1902-1997). Nothing further is known about Henry Stout.

She married (3) Daniel Lee Farmer 25 September 1903. Their children were Thomas Franklin Farmer (known as Frank) (1904-1975) and Daniel Lee Farmer (1907-1976).

Stories passed down about "Belle" always mention her kindness and how much everyone who knew her, loved her. She was known for her tatting, examples of which survive to this day.Farmer
