Bird Elise Hunt Services for Bird Elise "Beesey" Hunt will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Steve Bryant, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. Saturday until the service in Ward Hall at the church.

Mrs. Hunt died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at Heritage House Nursing Home. She was 93. Born in Warren County, Mrs. Hunt was the daughter of the late Edgar T. and Rebecca Elizabeth McCraine Birdsong.

She was a former agent with Life & Casualty Insurance Co. and was dietitian at Grove Street School for a number of years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allein Bible class and Dorcas Circle.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. "Bill" Hunt; a sister, Margaret Sturgis; and two brothers, E.T. Birdsong Jr. and David Reed Birdsong.

She is survived by a daughter, Patsy H. Halford of Vicksburg; a son, the Rev. William "Bill" Hunt Jr. of Greenville, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
