Funeral services for 10-year Big Pine resident Bertha Lee Head, 84, will be held Friday, Jan. 26 at the Brune & Buck mortuary Chapel in Bishop. the Rev. Richard Fox of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Rev. Tim Toppers of the First Baptist Church of Big Pine will officiate. Bertha was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Dec. 10, 1911. She died Jan. 19 at Hospice of East San Gabriel in West Corvina. Survivors include her children: Robert Lee of Covina, William Lee of Pomona, Lee Lee of Bishop, Beverly Martin of Hesperia and step daughter Donna Swirczek of Scotts Valley, Calif,; sisters Ida Skinner of Big Pine, Clara Name of Wasco, Calif., Elsie Fisher of Palm Desert, Calif., 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Interment will be at the West Line Cemetery.
