MILDRED BLACK

Mildred Black, 90, who had resided at 727 N. Broadway several years, died at 4:30 this morning, Aug. 10, in the Heritage House Nursing Home, having been ill the past year and seriously ill the past week.

Mrs. Black was born Nov. 7, 1893, in Decatur County, the daughter of Henry and Molly Moulton Reinkie. She was married to Roy Black Sept. 2, 1926, in Greensburg, and he preceded her in death Sept. 21, 1946.

For eight years Mrs. Black had worked at the former Citizens' National Bank. After the death of her husband, she was an employee of Minears' for over 20 years. She was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church and the Pythian Sisters.

She was the last of her family, and is survived by one nephew, Howard Moore, Greensburg. She was preceded in death by one niece, Mrs. Howard (Maxine) Moore.

The services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leland Brett officiating, and with burial in the South Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m Sunday.
