Carole Anne Johnson Flynn, 69, was born in Houston, Texas on August 23, 1945 and passed away on May 18, 2015 from complications of a long illness.
Carole is predeceased by her parents, Joseph J. and Edna Earle Ker Johnson and her brother, Jeff Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Pat Flynn; her daughter, Rene Flynn; sisters Margaret West, Pattie Jard and husband Jim, Elaine McAndrews and husband Dennis, and brother Roy Johnson and wife Andrea and her Uncle Pat Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Carole's passions included painting, music and reading. She will be remembered for her intelligence, wit and generosity.
Carole was raised in Houston and attended The University of Texas at Austin. She worked as an interior designer for Metro National, Inc., a Houston organization founded by her father, Joe Johnson.
The family wishes to thank without reservation Carole's devoted and loving caregivers: Betty Peralta, Jasmine Rodriguez, Gloria Mendieta, Elizabeth Serrano, Laura Hernandez, Janet Gutierrez and Sofia Castillo.
