Robert D. "Bob" Fuller age 81 area farmer and educator of Delaware passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 15, 1933 in Marengo he was a son of the late Homer and Edythe (Patton) Fuller. In 1951 he graduated from Marengo High School; where he played basketball. He went on to earn his bachelor's and master's degree in agricultural education from The Ohio State University.

A teacher with Elm Valley and Buckeye Valley Schools, he then served as an administrator with the Delaware Joint Vocational School. Retiring in 1991 his career in education spanned 35 years.

Through education, he met Dorothy Freeman; in 1959 they were married and shared 56 wonderful years raising a family.

A multi-generational farmer he took a keen interest in agriculture, not only with the family grain and livestock farm, but also in agricultural education as a teacher. A disciplined teacher, he proudly followed the farming success of his students.

Bob was an active 50 year member of the Kilbourne United Methodist Church, a Paul Harris Fellow with the Delaware Rotary Club, member of the Delaware Soil and Water Conservation District, and Farm Bureau. He was a 4-H leader of the Brown Happy Farmers, served as Grand Marshall of the Kilbourne Days Parade in 2014, was inducted to the Agriculture Society Hall of Fame, and was named the Delaware Soil & Water Conservation District 2014 Cooperator of the Year

Winters were spent in Haines City, Florida. He was a longtime fan of the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes. Being a humble Godly man, he was strong willed, patient and kind.

He will be remembered for his love of family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife Dorothy, he is also survived by children Dr. Raymond (Karen) Fuller, Cindy (Paul) Parker, Randy (Jennifer) Fuller all of Delaware, grandchildren Sarah Parker, Kenneth Fuller, and Anna Fuller, sister-in-law Polly Fuller, brother-in-law James (Barb) Freeman.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Richard Patton "Dick" Fuller, sister Evelyn Marie (Robert) Schaublin, his infant twin brother, Raymond and an infant sister, Helen Gertrude.

Friends may call 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr., Delaware. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the Kilbourne United Methodist Church, 5591 St Rt 521, in Kilbourne, with Celebrant Don Lockwood officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
