Mr. Allen was a native of Laurens County, a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Bloodworth Allen of Rt. 1, Milledgeville; one son, Morgan Eugene Allen of Milledgeville; three daughter, Mrs. Henry Marchman of Eatonton, Mrs. W. E. Giles and Mrs. W. R. Griffin, both of Milledgeville; two brothers, Wesley Allen and Lamar Kight, both of Irwinton; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Mae Snow of Milledgeville and Mrs. Corinne Shivers of Warner Robins, five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren also survive.
