Age 65, of Watseka, IL, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at his home. Born February 11, 1946 in Wewoka, OK to the late Jack W. and Darlene (nee Looney) Fields. Jerry owned and operated Jerry Fields Masonry and contracted in the North Central Illinois area for 38 years. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Effingham, IL. Jerry enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Surviving were one son, CJ (Amy L.) Fields of Clifton, IL; two daughters, Amy C. Fields Tillery of Sieverville, TN and Julie Ann Fields (Keith) Chambers of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren, Samantha Fields Meier, Kelsey Cano, Nolan Murray, Owen Murray, Wyatt Fields, and Audrey Fields; three brothers, Jim Fields of Rockey Creek, TX, Les (Ruth Ann) Fields of Bloomfield, MO, and Don Fields of Kankakee, IL; his friend and former wife, Carolyn (nee Janusauskas) Fields of Watseka; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, Thursday, April 28, from 5-8 p.m. Cremation rites followed. A memorial service was at the Gospel Assembly Church in Effingham, IL, Saturday, April 30, at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Bob Peach officiated. Inurnment was private.
