Floyd F. Allen, age 85, of Wyaconda, MO, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Clark Co. Nursing Home in Kahoka where he had been a resident since Friday.He was born September 18, 1920 in Clark County, MO, near Fairmont, a son of Arthur C. and Virginia B. Jenkins Allen.Survivors include two great nieces and their families, as well as other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charley Allen; and, three sisters, Leota Wells, Beuna Allen, and Jessie Allen.Floyd was a graduate of Wyaconda High School. He had farmed all of his life in the Fairmont neighborhood.He was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church, a 50 year Mason, and a member of Williamstown Lodge # 370, A. F. & A.M. He enjoyed his friends and neighbors and loved his dog, Jackie.Funeral services are Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Rev. Ernest Deatrick officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery with Masonic Services at the graveside.Friends can call between the hours of 9 and 5 on Friday with family receiving friends one hour prior to services Saturday.
