Charles H. Bacon died at his home Sunday, Jan. 16, 1916, after a long illness, aged 74 years. Mr. Bacon was born Oct. 5, 1841, on the farm now occupied by Ed Smith. He was married three times. Four sons survive: Glenn and Claud of North Lansing, George of Cincinnati and Alden of Groton. Funeral at the home on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. F. J, Allington officiating. Burial in North Lansing cemetery. The bearers were members of the Masonic lodge to which he belonged.
