Mrs. Rose lived a full life with family, friends and a commitment to a small church located more than 40 miles from her home in Placerville. She inspired her family and her caregivers until the moment of her departure.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 42 years, Johnny W. Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Donald F. Rose; her sons, John L. Mayfield, Mick Mayfield and Jim Mayfield; her daughters, Donna Silen and Sherry Carver; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are being conducted at noon Saturday, July 6 at the Full Gospel Mission with the Rev. Doris Murphy officiating. Interment is at Union Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Snowline Hospice."
