"The body of Mrs. Ada Turner Byrd, age 35 years, of Pewee Valley, whose death occurred in East St. Louis, Ill., was brought to Louisville yesterday morning and taken to the undertaking establishment of L. D. Pearson & Son, Third avenue and Chestnut street. The funeral will be held from the chapel this afternoon. Mrs. Byrd was stricken with appendicitis while in East St. Louis on a short visit to her brother, H. M. Turner. She was a native of Kentucky and was well known in Pewee Valley."
