V. Grace Heise, 83 of Cape Girardeau, died Sept. 18, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 6, 1918, at Commerce, MO, daughter of Jesse Richmond and Alice Loftin Sanders.
She first married Frank Keesee July 9, 1938.
She and Ross Heise were married Nov. 7, 1966. He died Dec. 1, 1992.
Mrs. Heise lived at Jackson most of her life.
She had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co., and in sales and catalog department at Montgomery Ward.
She was a member of Foursquare Livingway Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Keesee of Branson, MO; three daughters, Judy Rose of Cape Girardeau, MO; Janet Schreiner of Jackson, MO; Betty Dunn of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Reece and Garnett Sanders of Cape Girardeau, MO; three sisters, Irene Hente; Alice Julian; and Jane Thompson, all of Cape Girardeau, MO; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral will be Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with the Rev. Larry Lawman officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.
