PID by father Charles William Buhler. Survived by mother, Callie, and siblings Mamie Wimberly, Dora, Erne and Forest P. (Bud) Buhler. Previously married to and divorced from Lura Shade of Palestine Texas. During World War I, he served as a driver in the 329th Infantry, Medical Division. Later he was employed in Houston as a meat salesman, first for Armour and then Swift. In World War II, he again served his country as a seaman second class, U.S. Navy, with the commissary at the Naval Air Base in Corpus Christi. He passed away at the base. He was posthumously awarded the victory Medal of World War II.
