Funeral Is Conducted At State Line Church; Interment Also There
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn., Oct 19 – Funeral services for Walter Lee Buffalo, 73, Lincoln County farmer, who died Tuesday night at the local hospital, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the State Line church. The Rev. Alvie Stevenson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A native of this county, his parents were the late Jasper Buffalo and Mrs. Myra Hardin Buffalo. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Allie Shockley Buffalo; three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Warren and Mrs. Dee Morgan both of Huntsville, Ala.; and Mrs. Almeda Gordon of Fayetteville; two sons, J. Buffalo of Huntsville, Ala.; and Cletus Buffalo of Fayetteville; also six grandchildren.
