Albert Warren Abbe, 77, resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas. He was born October 26, 1937 in Allen County, Kansas, the son of Clarence B. and Ellen I. (Vanderslice) Abbe. He served as a sergeant in the United States Army. Albert worked for more than 20 years as truck driver for Bridge Brothers, Beachner, and others, retiring in 1972.

Albert was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the V.F.W.

His survivors include
Children: Michael E. Bersee of Havana, KS, Marvin L. Abbe of Oswego, KS, Beverly A. Volks of Neodesha, KS, Patricia M. Abbe of Neodesha, KS, Gary A. Abbe of Parsons, KS
Brothers: Richard Abbe of Iola, KS, Carl Abbe of Iola, KS
Seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George Abbe.

Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held at a later date.
