ROCKY MOUNT - Mr. Norbart Eugene (Buddy) Didlake, age 64, of 129 Riverview Street, died Saturday, October 20, at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Didlake. Surviving are one daughter, Teresa Lynn Didlake, Rocky Mount; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronald Glenn (Pete) and Deborah Didlake, Norbart Eugene (Gene) Didlake Jr., all of Rocky Mount; Randall Keith and Marilyn Branham, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kimberly Renee and Keith Randall Branham; his mother, Annie L. Didlake, Virginia Beach; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Lee Nichols, Rocky Mount; Mrs. W.G. (Lelia) Anthony, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Kenneth (Shirley) Kinard, Virginia Beach; one stepbrother, Edward Didlake, Urbanna; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Lynch Chapel with Dr. Richard D. Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Monday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
