BOLLMAN: Deirdre Bollman nee: Alliban March 7th 1934 – May 11th 2015. Deirdre A. Bollman was born in Carberry Hospital to Alfred (Jim) and Louisa Alliban; and one elder sibling Ruth. One of her great senses of pride for her was being a pin girl with lifelong friend Martha Sevingy at the local bowling alley for the soldiers during their training in Carberry for WW II. Deirdre married E. Lloyd Bollman June 6th 1953. During his service with the army they lived throughout Canada and Europe. Upon returning to the Carberry area later in life she reconnected with many childhood friends and created many new friendships which she cherished until her passing. Surviving her are her children: Dawn (Bruce) Raynard Castlegar, BC, Nona Huff Calgary, AB, Glen (Vicky) Bollman Carberry, MB, Iris (Christopher) Sprayberry Colorado Springs CO, Gail (Geoff) Speiss Carberry, MB, Ella Bollman, Carberry, MB, Brad (Christian) Bollman Neepawa, MB. Deirdre is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; as well as her sister Ruth Dinsey and family throughout England. Funeral services will be held May 22nd, 2015 at the Carberry United Church at 2:00 pm, with the interment following at the Carberry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Manitoba Lung Association or your local Humane Society
