FRITCH — Albert “Art” Boyd Rawlins, 70 of Fritch died Thursday, May 14, 2015.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Chris Condit officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Art was born March 1, 1945, in Gordonville to Aaron Rawlins and Ella Fair Rogers Rawlins. He grew up in Lubbock and later lived in Panhandle and Fritch. Art married Linda Allen and together they had three children. He was a skilled tradesman in the construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Joyce Caperton and Sonja Rawlins-Bush.

Survivors include two sons, Marty Rawlins of Amarillo, Brandon and Branda Rawlins of Leoti, Kan.; a daughter, Misty and Paul Cooke of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Hayden Hughes, Channing Cooke, William Cooke and Breckyn Rawlins; a brother, Clynt Rawlins of Blueridge; a sister, Sharon and Paul Butler of Lubbock; and many nephews, nieces and friends.
