Obituary for John F. Bowles
John F. Bowles, 68, of Madisonville passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his residence in Madisonville. Mr. Bowles was born March 2, 1947 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Jessie Pratt Bowles and Alma Roberts Bowles. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Vanover and Betty Parkest, and two brothers, Jerry Bowles and Roger Bowles He was a carpenter by trade. He loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed spoiling his grandkids and was just an all around good guy. He is survived by two daughters, Kim Bowles Abbott of Madisonville and Kristie Bowles (Randall) Servidio of Madisonville; his companion, Dianna "Sissy" Bowles of Madisonville; three sisters, Penny Bowles and Linda Bowles both of Hanson and Monty Bergeron of New Hampshire; two brothers, Randy Bowles of Hanson and Jesse Bowles of Manitou, KY; grandchildren, Chase Dame, Jonathan Erik Dame, Tara Dame, Brittnie Jones, and Harlee Hollis; and great grandchildren, Kylee and Rylen Dame, Kaden and Carter Dame, and Dakota Jones. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday and from 12:00 P.M. until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chase Dame, Erik Dame, Harlee Hollis, Tara Dame, Coty Jones, and Randall Servidio. Honorary pallbearer will be Kaden Dame.
