Preceded in death by two stepsons: Leslie Scott Hix and David Alvin Hix.
Survived by her husband of thirty-three years; her daughter; one stepson; one step-grandson; two sisters; two nieces; two nephews; and three grandnephews.∼Anna Alice Sampselle Hix lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, three days after her 68th birthday. Alice was born to Anna Bob Rich and James Vernon Sampselle Jr. in Staunton, Virginia on April 25, 1947.
Alice married in May 1982 and their beloved daughter was born in November 1984. Alice excelled at everything she undertook. She was a first class Girl Scout leader, seamstress, quilter, analyst and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, daughter, stepson, step grandson, two sisters, nieces and nephews, great-nephews, a multitude of cousins and good friends.
A Memorial Service to Honor the Life of Anna Alice Hix will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wages Funeral Home chapel in Snellville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in Alice's memory to Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption
