The original memorial for this person said she was buried in Uniontown Cemetery, which is in Wheeling Twp, Uniontown, Belmont Co, OH. A photo request for her headstone has gone unfulfilled. I cannot find any record of burials in the Uniontown Cemetery. I have found nothing indicating that Mary (Shepherd) McNabb -- or her children -- ever lived in Uniontown.
When her husband, George McNabb, died in 1818, his 1810 Will gave her a life estate in their farm in Richland Twp, Belmont OH. Upon her death, that farm was to be sold and the proceeds distributed evenly to their four daughters. George and Martha (Shepherd) McNabb's eldest son-in-law, Isaac Holmes, was named executor. From 1822 to 1834, "George McNabb heirs" paid taxes on that farm. On 30 Dec 1834, an Indenture (Deed) was entered by which the four daughters and their husbands sold that farm to a third person.
Research has failed to disclose where widow Mary (Shepherd) McNabb was living when she died.
