Eunice Faye Erpelding, 86, of Lebanon, died at home on Jan. 3, 2012.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 7 in the Fireside Room at First Assembly of God Church in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 5, 1925, in Telocaset, Union County, to George and Lulu (Bridwell) Ackley.
She lived in Union until her family moved to Southern California when she was 12.
She graduated with honors from Polytechnic High School in Long Beach.
During World War II, she worked as a secretary at the U.S. Naval Yard in Long Beach.
She married Bud Erpelding in 1946.
She moved to Oregon in 1950.
In her later years, she worked for the Marion County Historical Society.
She moved to Lebanon in 1994.
She is survived by daughters Janet Blair of Lebanon, Loree Erpelding of Cypress, Calif., and Sandy Erpelding of Arlington, Wash.; grandchildren Amanda, Emily, and Jesse Blair; and sisters Betty DeLong of Cypress and Wanda Atwood of Lakeview.
Her brothers Wayne, Huck and Harold; sisters Wythel and Donna; and her parents all died before she did.
Huston-Jost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
