Mrs. William (Ruth Mae Ater) Adkins, 86 of 501 Longview died 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 19, 1981) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, with visitation after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery.
Mrs. Adkins was born in Monticello, daughter of Byron and Mary Ater. She married William M. Adkins. He died in 1977.
Surviving are her daughter, Mildred D. Watson of Decatur; brothers, Vern Ater of Maroa; Charles Ater of Decatur; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
