Harold G. Dallas
Harold G. Dallas, 77, Holton, died Thursday at a Topeka hospital where he was admitted Dec. 19.
He was born April 3, 1901, in Harveyville, the son of Howard B. and Carrie E. McCauley Dallas. he moved to Holton 12 years ago from Topeka.
he was a farmer and had been employed by the Kate of Kansas before he retired in 1966. he was a member of Evangel United Methodist Church, Holton.
He married Goldie Bennett on April 8, 1967. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Robert Dallas, Salina, and Harold Dallas Jr., Hoyt; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Macel Dunn, Hollister, Mo.; two stepsons, Virgil Bennett, Atchison, and Kenneth Bennett, Soldier; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Freeborn, 1800 Medford; seven grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum.
