STUYVESANT FALLS Betty B. Barrow, 81, of Stuyvesant Falls, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her home. Born in Glens Falls, June 7, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Milford and Lena (Bennett) Benton. Mrs. Barrow was a secretary for Charles J. Barrow Engineering in Stuyvesant Falls. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Indian Lake and loved children, the outdoors and animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Christine B. Cohn (Dan) of Stuyvesant Falls; a sister, Jean Durking of Indian Lake; and two grandsons, Joshua and Benjamin Cohn and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Route 26A, Stuyvesant with Vicar Dan Cohn officiating. Interment will follow in Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home Inc., Rt. 9, Valatie.
