Harvey C. Abeling
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Portland Memorial Funeral Home for Harvey Chester Abeling, who died Friday in a local nursing home. Private inurnment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
Mr. Abeling, who was 65, lived at 6105 SE 20th Ave. He was born in Burke, Idaho, Feb. 3, 1909, and came to Portland in 1924. He had worked as an accountant and office manager of Pacific Construction Co.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Jo Abeling and two daughters, Margaret and Beverly Jean Abeling, both of Portland and a brother, Don of Metzger.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Harvey Abeling Memorial Fund at Moreland Presbyterian Church, 1814 SE Bybee Boulevard.
