The daughter of William Bancroft, Sr. (born circa 1768 in Nova Scotia) and Abigail Burnap (born April 1772 in Reading, Massachusetts), Abigail Bancroft married Ira Pearson on March 6th, 1814 in Reading. To this union were born two children, son George S. Pearson and daughter Harriet Pearson. Abigail also was the sister of William H. Bancroft, Jr. (born 1796 in Reading) and Cyrus Burnap Bancroft (born 1804 in Reading).

Gravesite Details
The 1881 City of Lawrence Death Register lists Abigail Pearson's father as "William Bancroft" birthplace of " N. S." and mother as "Abigail" birthplace of "Reading, Mass." Her father is not the William Bancroft (1748-1841) born in Reading.
