L. MILDREN FORSYTHE HUJU 92, Marcell, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1987, in Northern Itasca Nursing Home, Bigfork.

She was born and reared in Sac City, Iowa. She moved to Bowstring area in 1940 and to Marcell in 1960. She was a 30 year member of Bowstring Chapel, where she served as church organist for several years. She was a member of American Legion Post 593 Auxiliary of Marcell and Marcell Ladies Aid. She was a past member of Perry-Heide Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Talmoon, Minn.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Huju Sr; two sons, Ted Forsythe of Rochester, Minn and Warren Forsythe of St. Peter, Minn; two daughters, Juanita Larson of Pagosa Springs, Colo and Wanda Huju of Marcell; four stepdaughters, Elsie Anderson of Effie, Minn; Irja Christie of Bowstring, Irene Lyytinen of Marcell and Aileen Kovanen of Moose Lake; three step sons, Victor Huju Jr. of Marcell, Matt Huju of Marcell and John Huju of Norfolk, Va; five sisters, Rose Pellersels of Chula Vista, Calif; Minnie Birt of Sac City, Iowa, Freda Rogers of Sac City, Iowa; Letha Moore of Des Moines, Iowa and Beulah Friesner of Roosevelt, Minn; a brother Ernest Niles of Sac City; eight grandchildren; 17 great0grandchildren' 30 step-grandchildren' and many step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Dec 14 in Carrol Funeral Home, Deer River. Funeral services were Dec 15 in Marcell Community Church. Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
