Clyde Burton Wheeler was born on February 24, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His parents were the late Dana and Esther Afilda (Moe) Wheeler. Clyde was united in marriage to Marian May Swanberg on May 7, 1949 on her family farm in Ottertail, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children. Clyde was known for his painting, sign work, tract ministry of “Mr. Page” and many winters spent doing mission service at Rio Grande Bible Institute. He loved family times including camping at Ottertail Lake, family trips, Tough 13 games and Canasta with family and friends, and giving golf cart rides to his great-grandchildren.

Clyde passed away peacefully on April 14, 2015 at his home in Otter Tail, Minnesota at 86 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Clyde in death were his loving wife and paint partner: Marian (Swanberg) Wheeler in 2008 parents: Dana and Esther (Moe) Wheeler; step-mother: Edwardine Elizabeth (Koester) Wheeler; brothers: Harold, Horace, Jim, and Paul Wheeler; sister: Dorothy (Wheeler) Tennison; grandson-in-law: Taner Eiswald.

Clyde is survived by his one son, three daughters, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
